Extra information about paying with Credit Cards
version: 2009-12-22 15:15

You will be referred to RBSWorldPay. RBSWorldPay handles all ICHS2010 internet payments.

All RBSWorldPay pages are Secure (https), this means that all information is sent encrypted and nobody can intercept/read the transmitted information.

In the first screen you have to enter the credit card information. Enter it the same way as it is shown on the credit card. Enter the name exactly as shown on the credit card.

Depending on the bank / credit card company there may be a second screen where you will be asked to enter your credit card PIN code.

If your payment is refused, please re-try once (only once). Be sure you have entered all information correctly (exactly the same way as printed on the credit card).
RBSWorldPay never gives us a reason why a payment is refused. You will have to contact your own bank / credit card company to ask what the exact refusal reason is.
If you would like to try for the third time, please first close your Internet Browser, re-open it, and use your e-mail and password to login at http://www.ichs2010.org/finalpayment.asp

If you don't agree with a payment you can always request a payment cancellation.

RBSWorldPay considers the next countries as high risk countries (Algeria, Argentina, Belarus, Bulgaria, Ghana, Indonesia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Nigeria, Philippines, Romania, the Russian Federation, Ukraine and Yugoslavia).
Please do not use western credit cards (for example Dutch, French, American credit cards) in a high risk country. RBSWorldPay will not accept the payment, they are afraid that the credit card is stolen. In this case participants will have to pay by bank transfer.

Some banks / credit card companies block by default internet payments. If so, you will have to contact your bank / credit card company to enable your credit card for internet payments.

You will receive an e-mail from RBSWorldPay saying if your payment is accepted or refused. If your payment is accepted you will also receive an e-mail from ICHS2010. If you receive the first 'accepted' e-mail (from RBSWorldPay) but you don't receive the second 'accepted' e-mail (from ICHS2010), please contact us, do not try to pay again, you probably have already payed.

It is possible that you receive a double 'accepted' e-mail confirmation from ICHS2010. This happens when you press F5 at the last confirmation screen or when you print this screen. As long the payment number is the same, it's the same payment and you have payed only once. Only the confirmation messages have been sent for the second time.
(example of the subject of an 'accepted' e-mail: 'ICHS 2010 - Payment confirmation 9999)

If you are not sure if your payment has been accepted or not, please contact ICHS2010.
